1. How did you first get involved with PostgreSQL?

   I worked at a company where we used the Greenplum database, built off of Postgres 8.3. I hadn't used Postgres before but quickly grew to love it.

2. How did you get interested in the area that is the subject of your talk?

   By having needed to solve technical problems for which there were no off-the-shelf solutions.

3. What is one feature of PostgreSQL that more people should use?

   TOAST

4. What future area of PostgreSQL development are you most excited about?

   Multimaster
